Subject: A small update
Dearest Cos,
I write with what promises to be good news. I have been spending time with a girl -- I know, you think that means only that I still breathe, but she is quite special. But I have told her nothing of note, though a priest bade me to, and the weight of that hangs over me.
I have also found the graveyard here, which has much more pleasant company than one would expect, and have worked on artistic endeavors. And I may go to Florida for my spring break next week -- a poor substitute for Sycamore Grove, but the ocean is almost the same, as all waters mingle.
I thirst for news of home. If you do not write back, I will conclude you have lost your ability to do so, and mourn your literacy.
