Room 502, Early Thursday

Romeo Montague was having the oddest dream. Andrew tried to sell him a potion to take away strange bloating and moodiness. "'Twill taste like peanut-butter brownies!," he promised, while a girl astride a dragon nodded her agreement. Romeo took a brownie and wandered off, to be met by a statue of Apollo, who handed him a chisel and begged him to make the unkindest cut of all. Gobsmacked by this even in a dream, Romeo stood there ... and the floor melted into a Slip-n-Slide covered in chocolate. Rikku waved goodbye, a little sadly, as he sped toward a distant wall.

And as he slid, Friar Laurence grabbed at him, hauling him off his path. "So this is how you mourn?" he asked, with eyes clear and angry. "This is how you mourn."

He woke up gasping for breath.

Teyla wasn't a heavy sleeper, so the sounds of Romeo waking up were enough to wake her as well. She was silent for a few moments, simply listening, before she said, "Are you all right?"

"Queen Mab, oh! She torments me," Romeo said, still blinking away his dream. He rubbed his eyes fiercely.

That did not sound good at all to Teyla. "Are you ill? I can get you some water, if you would like."

Teyla's voice bought Romeo back to himself. "It's a saying," he explained, "I mean only that I had a dream that startled me awake."

He swung his legs over the bed to sit. "Do you believe dreams tell the truth, or do you think them lies?"

"I believe it depends on the dream," she replied, sitting up as well. "Sometimes, dreams can be so fantastic that they can be considered nothing but stories in our minds. But, other times dreams can be very realistic, and that makes it difficult to not believe them."

"This one wasn't realistic," Romeo frowned. "Just ... unsettling. It was about this place, then someone from home was angry with me. But I have had dreams that came true, to the sorrow of all, so any dream so vivid puts me in mind of that." He shifted his weight on his hands. "I meant not to wake you."

"It is all right. I am easy to wake," Teyla assured him. "I am sorry your dream was so vivid."

"It is over," Romeo said, though a shadow lingered on his face.

The memories of his dream began to evaporate, and he didn't really want to talk about it much more -- not that there was much to say, anyhow. Instead, he stood. "... I ought to shower," he mumbled, and began packing his shower caddy.
