Causeway & onto the mainland, Saturday

Romeo fidgeted slightly with his jacket as he waited at the causeway. It was a cool day, but he hoped the sunny weather would hold as they headed to the mainland and to Fécamp for shopping.

[OOC: For a few, everything after the first thread NFB due to distance. And yes, I am OCDing this for, like, three characters. I may be insane.]

Romeo laughed. "I'd be very old, and no doubt very wise if it took a hundred years for me to get back again," he pointed out. "My caregivers might not even let me drink wine by then."

Dōjima looked skyward and sighed melodramatically. "He thinks he'll get wiser, instead of just senile. How cute."

Romeo felt the rejoinder to that also needed to be addressed heavenward. "And she is my elder yet, which means she'll be more senile when that day comes."

"I'm going to be young and beautiful forever," she announced, sticking her tongue out at him. "So there!"

Romeo squinted at her. "And I've seen you in daylight, so I don't think you're a vampire..."

Dōjima smirked and leaned in to trail one finger along his neck. "I haven't drawn any blood lately, have I?" she asked innocently, batting her lashes at him. "My bad."

"We have to work on that," Romeo suggested, leaning in to mumble into her ear.

Andrew and Rikku didn't exactly need to hear this, no.

She ducked her head slightly to hide the smirk as she bit her lip. "I'm sure that can be arranged," she murmured quietly. "You just tell me when and where."

She could always ask Rikku or Jen to take Alea for the night, if needed.

"We could," Romeo suggested, "get Rikku to walk Andrew back to camp, and find a hotel in town. If your schedule would permit."

"I don't have any other plans this weekend," Yurika answered, moving in for a kiss. "Shall I pull Rikku aside, and see if she'd be willing? I would hate to ruin any plans she might have for this evening."

He kissed her lightly. "We certainly shouldn't ruin her plans, but if she is free, I would like that immensely."
