Romeo hated words today.

Actually, Romeo hated a lot of things. Graduation. His utter feeling of impotence in light of Reno's choices. Having lost his Super Bowl bet. But the main thing he was hating, right then, was words. They seemed to just create traps for him, and he hated them with the intensity of a spurned lover.

So he was going to try to find Yurika after Heroing, and not use any words for a while. He tapped impatiently on her door.

"A room with no phones and lots of alcohol. Then if I somehow say something to someone, I can pass it off as drunken rambling," Yurika decided. "Maybe a Romeo to entertain me, if I can find one, since he can always silence me a kiss."

"And he would never complain about it," Romeo vowed. "You could ramble at me anytime, as long as you don't mind if I ramble back. I don't think I have any secrets from you."

"Problem solved! Next time we have too many words, we only talk to each other," she said, shifting to scatter light kisses along his collarbone, "and hopefully spend the time making-out. We should have thought of this the other day!"

"I could have tackled you during class," Romeo said, then matched her kisses with ones to her ears. "Did you have such a bad day, after that? I really only talked to Reno."

Which ... had been a laugh-and-a-half, there.

"Not really. I had gun club, and no one there expects me to be anything other than outrageous," Yurika answered, purring slightly at the attention. "Besides, using the lanes really cuts down on unnecessary chatter."

Romeo grinned and kept doing what he was doing. "We should go practice together sometime," he said idly. "Not to avoid talking, but because it's been a long time since we did."

"A gun date, Mr. Montague?" she teased, letting her fingers trail across his abdomen slowly. "How very romantic. Add in dinner, and you have yourself a deal."

"You said it yourself, that I'm your romantic," he teased. "A deal, then. When? I would do it anytime."

"I already know you'll do it anytime," she leered in return, placing more kisses across his chest. "But for dinner and some shooting, I'm free pretty much any evening. I've only got the four classes and gun club."

"Next Monday?" Romeo suggested. "After I close up the shop, i can be yours entirely."

"I'll pick you up at the store, and we'll make a night of it," Yurika promised. "Shooting, dinner, and I'll even spend the night."

"That is, if you don't mind walking to class on Tuesday afternoon with a girl."

"That would depend on the girl," Romeo said, rolling to his side to steal another kiss. "With you, it would be an honor."

Yurika laughed, letting him steal as many kisses as he liked. "An honor, huh?" she asked, preening under the attention. "Maybe I should spend my Monday nights in your bed more often!"

"Am I meant to object to that plan?" he asked. "You can spend any night you like here, always."

"You might get sick of me," she said, sitting up so she could grin down at him. "My roommate might get lonely. The cat might miss me. There's a million ways the plan could go wrong."

"We could invite the cat over," Romeo said. "I'm not so sure Jen would like it, or I'd say the same about her."

Yurika wrinkled her nose and swatted at him lightly. "No multi-party sleepovers," she scolded. "Not unless it's Spring Break, and we're all just passed out from too much alcohol."

"I'm not sharing my roommate with my boyfriend!"

"You say that as if Jen even would ever consider it," Romeo pointed out.

"I don't think my roommate is half the square people think she is," Yurika informed him. "Jen just needs some encouragement, that's all." The woman had had a thing for the Not-Twins, after all.

"You know how tipsy I was by the end of the New Year's dance?" Yurika grinned wickedly and poked at his ribs. "Three guess as to who I was drinking with, when I wasn't with you, and the first two don't count!"

Romeo laughed. "I might have judged her wrong, then. Shall we call and invite her over?"

"I already said I'm not sharing her!" Yurika laughed. "My roommate! If you want one, you'll have to find your own."

"Besides, I'm pretty sure I can keep you entertained all by myself."

Which she was going to prove by closing the distance between them and kissing him passionately.

Maybe she'd spend the rest of today right here. Jen probably wouldn't mind having the room to herself for an evening.
