Wedding Chapel, Friday Night

As bad idea marriages went, it was saying something that marrying Angela was actually only the second worst nuptial idea Romeo'd had in his young life.

At least no one was likely to die this time?

Not that he was thinking about that, or about much of anything, really, beyond "champagne bubbles FUN" as he stumbled over to the counter, Angela beside him, and started trying to fill in the paperwork.

"Angela, darling, dearest bride, how do you spell Montenegro?"

"There's an 'e' in there somewhere!" she informed him helpfully. So helpfully.

This was actually only the most ill-advised wedding Angela had taken part in so far. That was saying something, right?

It must have helped Romeo enough, because he gave her a grateful look and finished with the papers. "We should have rings!" he realized, suddenly. "And flowers."

"Everything comes with the sweetheart special package, sir," the attendant informed him.

"Ooh, so organised," Angela declared. Easily impressed today, yes. "Thank you," she added for the attendant.

"It's what you said," Romeo nodded breathlessly. "It's all here, just for us."

He looked over the selection of rings. "This is niiiiiiice."

"Gorgeous," Angela enthused. She would say that about most things at this point. "But so is that, and that and..." Yeah. Really.

"Closing her eyes and pointing possibly wasn't the most logical way of making this choice, but it was the one she went with.

Observe! Throw peanuts! Film! Bet on whether Hannibal or Dojima will off members of the happy couple first!

Romeo smiled blissfully and waved at the two girls. It was nice to have people come and wish them well!

Reno was totally stumbling back to grab the papers that said Sven and whatever her name was were totally married, an' shit. He'd left 'em behind, and...

And- Oh, hay! That was Romeo, up there! Hey, Romeo!

Rikku, for her part, was more steady on her feet. It helped that she was wearing sandals and a sundress, and not her bridal hookerwear. And that she'd sobered up considerably in the few hours since her own fake-nuptials.

She squinted at Romeo, vaguely confused, then shrugged.

"Maybe Dojima's busy?"

Fake weddings: the hot new trend! Maybe?

Reno squinted, taking a moment to consider this. Sure, Rikku had sobered up.

He, on the other hand, was still drunk and still dressed like a colorblind tourist. So her explanation was as good as any.

"Yeah, Romeo! You're the maaaaaaan, yo!"

Chuck was drunkenly going back to his room when he passed the wedding chapel and caught a glimpse of Angela and Romeo in there.

Well he had to go in and watch.

He took a seat up front with his scotch in one hand and his cell phone in the other. Had to document the happy occasion of course.

"I'm so happy for the two of you!" he shouted.

Éowyn had seen the marital chapel, but she had not expected to see anyone using it for its intended purpose. Therefore, when she spotted people inside - people her own age even - she could not help but take a seat and watch the event unfold.
