Romeo was getting married.

Romeo was getting married, and maybe it wasn't the first time but it was the first time he understood what he was doing.

Perhaps that was why it was the first time he'd been nervous.

He paced around the spot on the beach that would be their chapel in his bare feet and wedding suit, occasionally pausing to make small talk with Balthasar or Miho or the priest. His mind wasn't in it; all he wanted was his Yurika.

And then their lives could start.

Miho reached over to the little ipod stereo to start the recessional music, and Yurika bowed twice to the priest before offering her arm to Romeo. "Shall we, Mr. Montague, and our trusty associates can take pictures for us to text people with the announcement?"

Romeo grabbed her hand, squeezed hard.

"My lady," he laughed, "Signora Montague. I think the world awaits."

He didn't quite tug her down the aisle, but it was a near thing.

"That's Signora Dōjima-Montague to you," she teased, stumbling over the sand with him. "You may be hot stuff in Verona, with your Montagues, but I've got some pedigree too."

"Although I hope you don't think you're getting a housewife." Her eyes were twinkling with amusement. "I have some interviews lined up."

"As long as I can be Montague-Dōjima-san in Tokyo to match," Romeo said, still with a grin that might eat his face. "And I wouldn't have wed you had I wanted a housewife."

He glanced to the witnesses following them. "I think this is time for champagne."
