Roof, Tuesday Evening

Romeo Montague lit a final candle, moved it ever so slightly, and grinned at his handiwork. A card table made a fine place to dine on takeout Chinese food, if it was on a roof and bedecked with a tablecloth and candles, and a small rug could serve as a dance floor. And for his orchestra, he had iTunes playing a stream of slow, jazzy music.

He considered the problem of invaders from the door to the roof, and, regretfully, decided he couldn't lock or block it. But he could have a sign at the ready to post as soon as Yurika arrived.

[OOC: For one, though the door is not locked. Up early for slowplay.]

"Well, if I missed my class due to dancing on the roof, I doubt Mr. Bond would take it well," she said sadly. "He doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humor."

"Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away," she sang, letting herself be pulled closer. "Hours and hours. Really, I only need to come down right before class. Oh, and before our food gets cold. We should eat it sometime tonight, since you went through all the effort."

"We can always take it inside, if it gets too cold," Yurika replied, continuing to move with the music.

It was unclear if she meant the food or the dancing.

[OOC: Fleeing to internet-less lands. SP?]

"I don't think a cloud would fare well indoors. Being trapped within four walls and a ceiling just wouldn't be fair to the poor thing." Yurika shook her head sadly. "While music, dancing, and food translate well to indoor locations, I think we'd have to let clouds be clouds, and wander where they may."

"Hai," she nodded, reluctantly breaking their dance to turn toward the table. "As yummy as Chinese is when you re-heat it for breakfast, it's still best fresh. So! What's on the menu?"

"Vegetarian? Nah!" she giggled, taking her seat. "Unrepentant carnivore! If we weren't supposed to eat it, it wouldn't taste so good!"

"If I was meant to live off grass, I would have been born a rabbit," Yurika agreed, snapping her chopsticks at him before helping herself to the mystery noodles. "Meat, carbohydrates, alcohol, sugar, all those things that are supposedly so so bad for you, but so so good. Life is to enjoy the finer things, not let them go to waste!"

"I'm never in favor of delaying gratification," she said smoothly, grabbing a bit of beef from his plate. "Why wait? It just doesn't make sense."

Well now, Dōjima was not inclined to deny such a request. Chopsticks were quickly abandoned as she reached out to tangle her fingers in his hair and return the kiss.

The itty bitty voice in the back of her head hollering that this was a 'bad plan' was very quickly and firmly squashed.

The little voice in her head had silenced the moment their lips met, and Yurika wasn't really thinking at all now. Nothing beyond the desire for more, anyway. More lips, more kissing, more of his hand that was so nicely situated on her back. Simply more.

This was a wonderful date.
